There are many ways to contribute through social media. Meeting people face-to-face is about making their lives better and meeting people through social media is too. Whether that is by giving them a smile, compliment, tip for their business or anything in between. There is a way to help everyone. Being generous and helping others be successful will only add to your success.
Here are 3 ways to Contribute through Social
1. Share other people’s content – Spreading the word about another person or business is a great way to contribute to their success. It shows that “Hey, I support you.” It makes them feel good and spreads their brand to your followers. This can be done on Twitter with a ‘retweet’, on Facebook with a ‘share’, on Pinterest with a ‘Repin’ and so on. Not only does this create contribution to that person or brand, but it also gives you additional content for your platforms.
2. Create a Group on Linkedin- Not only can this show your expertise, but it can grow a community of people and/or business owners that can all share valuable information about a certain subject. When you create this group, remember to create it around a subject matter that is close to your heart. Be sure to think about the question “How is this group going to make the members’ lives better? Add your own educational content often and contribute your feedback to others in your group. You will be amazed at how this contribution will make a difference in your business.
3. Hold Free Webinars or Google+ Hangouts – Providing valuable content through webinars or hangouts is a great way to contribute through social media! You can contribute to the community that follows you. Do you have a specific product that people want to learn about or a specific strategy that could benefit their business? Then teach about it on your social platforms…and give it away for free!
Don’t worry, when you give and contribute, things have a way of coming backing to you 10x over!!!
